Gaia's Slumber

At the end of autumn Mother Earth falls asleep. She rests under the blanket of late autumn. She will sleep through the coming winter and awake refreshed, bringing spring to earth once again.

“Gaia’s Slumber” is a soft sculpture doll covered in silk fusion made with hand-dyed silk tussah roving.
